Hey, Kristy, admin, and all other members.
Seriously, it's nice to see a site that is supportive of TS issues without being full of ultra snobs or intellectual elitists. It's also nice to see a TS site moderated by someone from the adult industry that is willing, and even excited about, supporting the TS community.
I, for one, fully support this very mature attempt to blend the two. I hope this message board gets going.
Love,
Egg

I agree.
I wonder though why Kristy never writes in to her own website and never answers anyone's questions or responds to anything they have written?
It would be nice to chat with her. It would be nice for people like me who are relatively new to being T-ladies, and also for the men who love T-ladies, to learn from her, since she is an experienced and a very feminine and beautiful T-lady.

I imagine that she has completely forgotten about this place.

Sorry for my limited time everybody. I do get to the message board when I am able. Please be patient.
I'm so glad to see people coming here for information. I agree that many sites are too stuffy about dealing with transgender issues. Most of them abhor the word "shemale" and will boot you for even using it. I'm ok either way, but that is pretty closed minded for a group to exclude some people because of terminology.
Everybody is welcome here.
P.S. The message board is growing steadily. It isn't as active as some boards, but we have some wonderful people here.
Hugs 'n Kisses,
Kristy

Exactly, Kristy.
Personally, I do my best to use terminology that won't offend anybody. However, it's a bit of a turn off to watch how intolerant some of the boards get about outsiders. After all, how can you intolerantly teach tolerance?

Very well stated eggplant!

It seems many people, even in the transgender community want to have their little groups where everybody like them is accepted, but watch out if you don't fit their criteria...
Isn't that the same discrimination all people within the broad spectrum of transgender community are subjected to by a largely intolerant society?
I love diversity!

I've been reprimanded by several of the girls who didn't like the term shemale. I tend to avoid it now. I just wait to see what they call themselves and if I have any question I can usually just ask them what they prefer to be called. It also opens the door to further conversation which eases any tension.

Most of the She-Male woman or transexual women I know prefer to be refered to as ladies or women.
Also when speaking of a She-Male woman or a transexual woman refer to her as a "she" or a "her".

Gender and identity politics is a touchy subject. I studied it extensively in college.
On one hand, you have certain members of the intellectual community trying to "queer" identity, and deconstruct current gender and sexuality archetypes in an attempt to demonstrate that these archetypes no longer apply in a postmodern world.
On the other hand, you have small militant pockets of people, on BOTH sides of the aisle, creating new categories as fast as the postmoderns can destroy them.
Finally, you have individuals, many of whom have spent a lifetime trying to establish their identity, who don't want anyone, either deconstructivist or bigot, telling them what they are, or what they are not.
The bottom line is that there are six billion people alive today. There are, most likely, six billion different gender identities. I am a strong believer in education through personal exploration. This sometimes means exploring beyond my own comfort level. The internet is a very safe place to do this. I understand why people get threatened, but I do not agree with it.
Don't allow anyone to limit your own discovery by believing them when they tell you that you are wrong. Go find out for yourself if you are wrong or not.
