I am a teenage male debating about some things and I would like the opinions of people who seem to have similar interests... I asked my girlfriend how she felt about me having breast implants and what-not to try to become kind of a shemale... she seemed to like the idea, and said if I am stuck between shemale or male I should get like B cups so that I could be feminine, or sometimes cover them to try to appear more masculine. I asked her again recently if she really thought I should, and she said yes. So I'm pretty sure, I'm just curious and want to to know what I'm really looking at. Thank you for your help.

If you are only a teenager, I would wait a few years before making such a decision.

Do you want to be completely transformed into a She-Male lady, and looking like, and living as, a woman, like most of us She-Males are? Do you plan on not only getting breast implants, but also going on female hormones, have your facial and chest hair removed, having facial surgery to make your face look like a woman's facial features, etc... Do you dress as a woman, and desire to live as one?
If you are just going to live as a man, and dress as a man, except you have breast implants, I would not go through with it.
Also, unlike many men who crossdress as women, She-Males and transexuals actually look and live as women, and many of us date men. Are you gay, or are you dating a woman? If you are going to make yourself into a complete She-Male or transexual woman, and look and live as a woman, will your girlfriend like that? If you break up with her, or she with you, would you, if you make yourself into a She-Male, be able to date attractive hetrosexual women?
Most of us She-Males consider ourselves women, and we are with men.

Excellent post.

I wish there were more open minded sites on the internet that allowed for a more open exchange of information.

Joke, please be careful when making decisions that are permanent. We love you and cherish both who you are and who you wish to become, and we only want you to be happy at the end of your journey.

I agree with Johnette and Eggplant. The shemale and transexual ladies I have met are very serious about what they are doing.

HangmansJoke - you've already received some very good advice. I'll tell you that my breast augmentation surgery was quite painful, not to mention expensive. I'm not sure of the exact cost, but I suspect you're looking at almost $5000 for surgery. One of the risks of surgical breast augmentation is a loss of sensation in the nipples. A surgeon can fully advise you of this and other risks associated with the surgery.

Of course, some girls opt for "homegrown" breasts through female hormones. Let me say here that this should only be done under a competent physician's medical care. Hormones cause significant changes in the body and mind and are not to be taken lightly. There is a significant cost associated with this process also when you factor in physician visits, lab work and medications. Your medical insurance will not pay for these visits or medications in most cases. Finally, while on female hormones you'll find that your sex drive and even your ability to maintain an erection are diminished a great deal. If sex is important to you, then this should be carefully considered.

Either approach to breast development poses its own advantages and risks. I also advise anyone who is young to think very carefully before making a decision to alter their body. Reversal can be difficult, and in some cases impossible.

Only you can make this decision, but please do so only after serious contemplation about whether this is right for you and with qualified medical care.

By the way, your girlfriend sounds way cool.

Good luck to you!

Personally, I don't think that breasts make the woman. On some women, big breasts look awesome. On others, small breasts do. If having big breasts makes a woman feel more feminine, and thus more confident and happy with herself, then she should have implants. But don't force it if you don't want it.

Good advice you're getting here - be careful and don't rush it.
